It is a fact of life that not every body can wear the same pair of pants and get the same look in those pants.
Find the Perfect Pair of Pants for Your Body Shape #PlusSize #Fashion
With a little help, we can all find the perfect pair of pants for our body shape.
The hourglass body shape.
This seems like it is the most popular body shape for the curvy gal. Maybe it is because many of us can relate to the larger bust and bottom that contribute to hourglass. What all hourglass gals have in common is a waist that is small in proportion to the other parts of the body. It is important that if you have this kind of a body shape that you fit the largest part of your body and then tailor the rest as needed.
The goal of your look should be to balance out the hourglass with your pants. Flared or bootcut pants are a good way to do this. You should avoid pants, leggings or capri pants that will accentuate a slim ankle as this will make what is larger look even larger. Pull your legging or capri up to show some ankle skin if needed for balance.
The ‘boyish’ body shape.
When people say ‘boyish’ they are usually referencing a body shape with little or no waist definition. A good way to fit this body is to look for an elastic waist, insert waist, or a pant that can create a waist for you. Jeans with pockets that can balance out you bottom will also look nice.
The Pear Shape body
There are a lot of us who have a bottom half that is significantly larger that the top half.
When people look at you, you are probably sure that they are seeing an eye-full or booty or the related.
This means that you will probably want to draw the eye back up the body and the best way to do this is to downplay the bottom.
A good way to take the eye away from the bottom half is to go boring on the bottom with darker colors.
